"This hotel is 650 years old and the owner is happy to share quite a bit of history about it. Breakfast was excellent. Just know that the kitchen closes at 9:30 AM. We had room one which was the oldest room in the hotel and had an incredible bathtub."

"I stayed here with my daughter and parents for 2 nights either side of our holiday to Cornwall and it was lovely! The room was spacious and had everything we needed and breakfast was delicious. We had dinner in the restaurant and was all cooked beautifully. The staff were also so friendly. I read the reviews re the decor etc but honestly, this to me added to the ‘homely’ feel. We stayed over a weekend and was the quietist hotel we have ever stayed at overnight re sleep quality…..so peaceful....
