"The room was clean, carpet outdated and not my favorite in a hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. They are able to hold your luggage upon check out, so you can continue to explore the city. Parking is located across the street near the police station, for a very reasonable fee. The area is quite and walkable, with Golden Gate Park across the street. On my next visit into the city I would definitely stay here rather than downtown."

"I loved the interior design of the hotel; it is older but very classy with some contemporary. The location is very convenient and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Only thing is the DT area is quite dirty, with lots of homeless around but that is with any hotel that you stay in this area, so not preventable if you want the convenient of staying in Union Square."
