She made sure that every need that we had was attended to, whether it be restaurant reservations, transportation, booking a boat, booking our nightly massages….we felt that she bent over backwards for us. "Shigira resort is set along the coastline and there is a free shuttle to and from the airport and between different hotels and restaurants within the resort. A car is needed to explore other parts of Miyako as public transport is non existent but there are beaches and a golf course within the resort. Organised tours offer pick up from the hotel."

"Room was clean and nice shower/bath combo, plenty of space, but the wall were stain, with marks of luggage hitting them or other things. A little paint refresh wouldn’t hurt. No restaurant in it or bar. Looks to be the oldest of the Shigira chain."
