"Like in the Spinal Tap movie, if I could give this property a 6 for everything I would have. Beautiful location with view of olive groves up a hill on one side and the Adriatic Sea on the other. Nice, clean, modern, comfortable. Best breakfast we have had so far on this trip. The managers Federica and Guiseppe were so accomodating and wonderful and went out of their way to make our stay the best it could be. "Great seaside motel. Family run, clean and comfortable. The restaurant was only open on weekends during our stay but Mama's pasta was sure amazing! There are lots of good dining options close by as well. "

The room is very clean & spacious enough. We really appreciated the electric drying rack for wet clothing. We did not take advantage of the breakfast but it looked very good & well worth the price. "Clean and spacious room with good bathroom. Right in the city center, close to everything. Floor heating is nice in cool weather, but takes time to lower tempterature for nighttime. We could have used A/c, but thag just seemed too wasteful. Only suggestion is a knife or two, in case guests bring takeaway. "

"I’ve stayed at the Smeraldo many times, this time was no disappointment. Rooms always great and spotlessly clean. Breakfast an amazing selection of delights and an especially a large collection of cakes. This time for the very first time I tried out the spa in the basement. This was an amazing experience. Saunas, steam room, ice and cold water room, a salt bath and also jacuzzi type baths. Felt super relaxed afterwards."
