"We had a very nice, large, twin bedroom facing Lake Biwa. The room had a couch seating area and was still large enough for us to comfortably keep to big suitcases open in the room and easily get around. Breakfast service was good, with a variety of Japanese and Western dishes available. We also used the Club Lounge in the afternoons for tea and in the evenings for drinks and canapés. "Vessel Inns really growing on me. Rooms are usually bigger than most standard Japanese biz hotels with free 'proper' coffee in the lobby an added bonus. Breakfast at the downstairs bakery also good."

"Severely outdated hotel. Most definitely NOT a family hotel as it is a "love hotel" and NOT safe for families. Entire room covered in yellow nicotine and the smell was horrendous. "
