"Britannia usually gets a bad rap and I’ve stayed in an awful one before at Manchester airport, but this is by the far the nicest Britannia and also nicer than other hotels - and our room was super cheap! We had a twin room, beds were very comfy, bathroom basic but clean, ironing board, hairdryer and fan. Food and drinks were good - gluten free choices too which was great - plenty of seating in the sunshine. Return airport shuttle is £14"

"The Normanhurst is starting to look very tired and a bit run down, having said that the room was clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful. Parking was good, the location is great and pricing was better than the competitor hotels nearby."

"All staff were welcoming and very friendly. Comfy bed. The room smell was too much with laundry or cleaning products that are heavy with synthetic fragrances and gave me a headache in the first hour. Less is more, not everyone can tolerate it. "
