"Ok, my opinion is swayed as this was my first time back in my home town for 30 years. But despite that biased opinion, reception was quick, fuss free and professional. Room was clean, very functional I'd say. (Polite way of saying not a lot there) But clean and comfortable. I guess we're used to tea and coffee facilities in the uk. Food and beer we're great, some staff spoken english but once I bust out the German they really opened up! Superb grounds to wander about in of an evening...

"I arrived on a Monday but was disappointed to learn the restaurant was shut. Had to drive back into Düren for food. Germany doesn't seem to like Mondays! Hotel is good, if not slightly tired, but very clean and I slept well. My Monday evening disappointment was short lived following a very welcoming and wonderful breakfast. Very nice staff."

"Excellent accomodation and great value for money. One opportunity for improvement would be to make sure that the payment terms are clear from the start. Hotels.com told us that we had paid 50% up front when booking but we had to pay 100% of the cost upon arrival. Will i ever see my 50% deposit again?"

"De locatie van het hotel is prachtig gelegen aan de Rursee, met een groot buitenterras. Als je in het laagseizoen gaat is het heel rustig en is de omgeving perfect geschikt voor mooie wandelingen. Het hotel zelf voelt in de kamers ietwat gedateerd aan, maar het is wel allemaal schoon en alles werkt naar behoren. Het zelfbedieningsrestaurant is goed, maar ook niet meer dan dat. Af en toe wat norse service, maar je kunt nu eenmaal niet altijd zes gooien. Ik zou hier zeker weer slapen, omdat de...
