"This was an amazing option to stay at for two nights. We could drop our bags, do the Hakone Gora loop clockwise with a bus stop 1 min from the door, with delicious sushi and a convenience store nearby too (for breakfeast options). Having the the Open Air Museum and a train stop nearby was perfect. The place itself was tidy, warm, had all the essentials we needed, plus a generously sized bathtub (with TV) to relax after completing the loop. The views were beautiful too."

"The most amazing stay in Hakone! It truly felt like a retreat and wished I would have stayed an extra night. We rented a car during our stay and it was easy to navigate from hotel to the lake. Room was huge and had everything we could have ever needed. Onsen was great and the balcony view was absolutely beautiful. Will definitely be back!!"

"Large space in Hakone and very reasonably priced. Good for large groups of fit, young people. Recommended parking is up a very steep hill and stairs to second floor are a little narrow and steep. The house was otherwise clean and comfortable."

Not only are the staff incredibly kind and accommodating, they provide small touches that make their guests feel welcome, like inviting us to sit for tea upon arrival, the 24/7 complementary coffee/tea and the cozy pajamas. Just a short walk to everything we wanted! Under 10 minutes to many izakaya options for dinner, 24 hour onsen, train station and Odawara Castle! "The fully contained apartment was a pleasure to stay in. It was private, comfortable and uniquely Japanese.for a split level space. There were plenty of futon beds and the kitchen had all that we needed. The attic bedroom was comfortable but does not have standing room. Thank you for a unique Japanese stay."
