It’s a beautiful home located, in our opinion, in the best spot in Nikko as it is easy to walk to the popular areas as well as catch the bus to go up to the mountain. There are also wonderful neighborhood restaurants to try within walking distance. It’s in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by beautiful nature. "We loved our stay at this little cottage in Nikko. The hostess was so amazing to work with both before we arrived with advice on car rentals and once we got there with restaurants and things to do. She was even so kind as to help us book a reservation later on our trip that we couldn’t do on line. The fresh fruit for breakfast was very tasty and the home was on a quiet street and an easy walk to food and not too far to the main shrine area. We would be very happy staying there again."

"Excellent traditional Japanese ryokan hotel with great staff. Having a private onsen (some of the rooms only) overlooking the fast-flowing river was the cherry on top. The rooms are spacious and the in-house restaurant served excellently prepared and presented traditional Japanese food which was a great cultural experience."
