"The good: Fiesole is a tranquil little town and an easy 15 minute bus ride into downtown Florence. We saw many hikers and cyclists passing through. The bad: the hotel is dingy and charmless. It advertises views of the Tuscan countryside but these are a sliver at best. Our room had a moldy shower, stained curtain, and repainted second hand furniture. The front desk is not manned 24/7. The breakfast is so-so. In short, if you want to avoid the pricier hotels in town, or access to local hiking...

"The camping site has a perfect location the view is spectacular and the weather is cool. On site facilities are good. The room was a bit tight but cleaning and security was 100%. The staff were friendly. We stayed for 2 nights and everything was as described."
