"A lively Lakeland hotel with great prospects and a good feel . Fabulous Langdale views, clean bedrooms and helpful staff. The food was perfect and I would recommend the chicken and mushroom pie, really good. The new owners have more to do in making improvements to decor and this is underway but we loved it and will return."

"The Farrier Inn is a well run and customer focussed establishment. Dave runs a tight ship but with a very light touch. The staff were all very attentive and keen to please. The room was a decent size with comfortable beds … and the rainforest shower was a great tonic to wash away the day. I will certainly stay there again!"
