"This has been my favourite UK staycation! The hosts were so lovely and kind. The rooms were clean and have everything you need with a few extra touches like dressing gown, heaters/hot water bottle and tea/coffee. The cooked breakfast was soo tasty! The location is perfect and not too far from everything..lovely views of cheviot hills. I have nothing negative to say...it was the perfect stay! Thank you! I will definitely stay here again next time I am in Northumberland!"

There are no staff on site, but when I rang up to check on access, I got immediate help and a call back from their head office, so was impressed by that. "The house and facilities are fantastic, in fact it felt so homely and welcoming we did not want to come home. The owners are lovely people very friendly and helpful The area is great for getting to many close by areas and dog walks. Love the art around the gardens, fenced in garden great for our pooches. Definitely going back, need to suss the bath as couldn't get hot water but this was an "us" fault not there's as we are rubbish with reading instructions. The only let down to our weekend was...
