There isn’t enough positive things I can say about this place. If I’m ever in Portugal again - I’ll be sure to make a special trip to the Douro Valley just to stay here."

Please note that the only way to get there is by car and the most convenient option is to take advantage of the dinner offered. "The hotel is absolutely perfect. The place itself is small and has a boutique feeling to it. The pool with salty warm water is perfect. The staff is quite helpful, kind and flexible since we were traveling with a baby. The breakfast is continental style for beautifully served with warm bread and fresh squeezed orange juice. The hotel room comes with a complementary wine hotel. If I had to make a couple of suggestions is to have more than one high chair available since sometimes there is more...
