"Lovely pub hotel, close to Gatwick airport. We had an upstairs room in the separate annex outside the main building. Very spacious room, clean bathroom, and comfy bed. Had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent (if a little pricey). Was leaving for the airport at 7:30am and breakfast started from 8, so they prepared us a very substantial packed breakfast to go. Overall excellent value for money and would certainly stay again and recommend."

"This popular pub/hotel was busy on the Friday night we stayed, but that did not detract from the service. Our room was provided with two fans and so it was nicely cool. The TV was not working, but the manager succeeded with one channel. The B & B breakfast was very good and vegetarian/vegan/ gluten-free options were available. There was a garden area (busy on a Friday night) with a pizza shack and children’s playground. All in all a very good experience for us two elderly people."

"We use this hotel when visiting family in the area. It’s a beautiful country hotel in lovely grounds. Despite being near to Gatwick which would be of benefit to many it’s very quiet. There’s always a warm welcome on reception and the rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds. The only addition we would suggest would be a mini fridge. We will return "
