"This is an absolutely exceptional hotel - starting with a very personal check-in by one of the owners to a fantastic room (we had a junior suite with in-room bathtub and mountain view) to the culinary highlights of the Gault Millau recommended cuisine. All of this in a cozy ambiance that combines Tyrolean hospitality with modern amenities. Having traveled in many countries over the years with numerous hotels - Strasserwirt really stands out. "This place was a beautiful gem and good location between major parks in the Dolomites. The only improvement I would make would be to have better wifi (only worked slowly on our balcony) and have a refrigerator in the room. Other than that it was comfy cozy. "

"We loved our stay here! Great location and drivable to various Dolomites hikes and sights. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. We got engaged during our stay and the staff treated us to a complimentary bottle of prosecco! The sauna and spa facilities were also a treat to use after our long hikes. Breakfast was also fabulous with lots of variety, quality coffee and made to order egg dishes. Highly recommend staying at Hotel Orso Grigio!"

"Beautiful property in a wonderful location with very helpful and kind staff. I wish we had picked a better room as our view was the parking lot, but can’t beat the amenities! Definitely recommend paying a little extra for a balcony with view room. 😀 Dinner wasn’t included in Expedia reservation so it’s an additional 35 euro pp for 4 courses. They save the table for the duration of your stay - service is phenomenal. "

"Hotel is decorated beautifully, all still very new. Located just on the edge of town but walkable into the centre in 10 minutes. The spa area is very nice, especially after a days hiking but would be helpful to know upfront that there is a €25 charge per person for 2 hours to use this. "
