"Up to now, after much travel, my favourite hotel is Coul House near Inverness. The Neue Post joins it at the top of my list. It is an elegant, wonderfully designed building..Two conjoined in fact. The whole place is gorgeous and elegant and the staff are wonderful. It must take a huge amount of skill and planning to produce such quality and attention to detail. They have succeeded. "The Gut Stiluppe just finished its renovation, and while the new parts look stunning, the upgrade has yet to proliferate to all parts of the place activity. Specifically, it feels the kitchen needs to really improve - morning eggs arrived at odd shapes (like scrambled eggs that weren’t scrambled before fried), and coffee with regular milk after we explained of a lactose intolerance. I think it will take a bit more time until the service gets to the level of facilities."

The hotel offers three meals a day including a 5-course chef-prepared dinner every night! The resort is focused on wellness and relaxation and is located in a beautiful area of Austria. It is not the easiest to get to, but is definitely worth the extra travel time once you arrive!"
