Ocean Blue & Sand Beach Resort - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful property. Beach steals the show. Super friendly staff with the exception of the front desk. My biggest complaint would be we asked several times for more bottled water in our room and it never arrived. I do think that could be language barrier a bit. Would 100% return to this resort.
Take a floater for beach and pool.
Take all medical needs, very expensive in the shops."
"Fire alarm was going off at 1 am in the morning. No hot water. A/c in the room did not work very well. Electricity kept going off and on during the night. Also I got stuck in the elevator."
"We are very happy for staff service,
Rooms are really spacious and clean, and all of food are better than expected, and well prepared, very high quality, healthy, fresh."
"Celebrated my 5 year anniversary with hubby here and we miss it already. This is our second Excellence resort, our first one was in Cancun Mexico and we’re blown away with how amazing this one was as well!! We were torn with choosing Punta Cana or El Carmen but we’re so happy we chose PC.
Our hotel room was very clean, comfortable, and it has a cool electronic feature to visually display DND or housekeeping request so that when staff pass by they can attend to you or give you privacy. AC was great, mini bar was always fully stocked. Food was really good, it’s worth it to be an Excellence Club member because nothing beat the club restaurant, Magna. Great breakfast and dinner!!! There’s also a cafe with lattes and dessert which is a huge plus. Pools were nice, we enjoyed the main one that had the swim up bar. They had beach and pool volleyball every day which was a lot of fun. The crowd at this resort was a good time. It’s so big that if you like quiet, you can get peace, privacy, and paradise. But if you want to get a little lit & fun, there’s some of that too :) the beach was so beautiful but i don’t swim in it so I can’t speak on that.
Nothing beats the service we received though. All staff were amazing from the bartenders to servers, housekeepers, reception staff, entertainers, and so on. Although this is all inclusive, I encourage you to bring cash for tips. Resort has change and staff will go above and beyond when you take care of them too. Hospitality 101 ;) "
"Room was clean, to be honest the whole resort is clean. Really nice beach front and pools. Don’t let the videos/ other reviews lie, the food is actually good. Staff was helpful."
