Hotel Idea was rated highly, and I could see why. It is quintessentially European as it is a refit of a very old building, and it is also 100% Balkan, within a cozy corner of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s second largest city. I am originally from this region and very much enjoyed authentic foods and nostalgic sights all within minutes of walking.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Clean, comfortable and close to St James church. About 10 minutes walk. Staff very welcoming. Thank you Everyone, you made our stay so special. I thought I was going to have difficulty in finding what to have for breakfast but each morning I was asked what I would like to have, since I am vegan I ordered what I could eat and it was brought to me with no problem. No soy milk available though. In general the breakfast selection doesn’t offer a huge variety...
