We really enjoyed our stay, though the location is not exactly close to the city centre. The premium room was roomy and nicely set up with dining table and Japanese tatami area.

Well services 5star hotel. No complaints on anything. Absolutely happy overall. However some minor things, 1. TV unit was not equipped with Google Chromecast(later staff confirmed it can be provided)2. Swimming pool on top is deeper on one side with 1.9mtrs(higher than average man height) mainly suitable for professional swimmers. Adjacent 1/3 area is 1.3mtr deep, however lifeguard on duty always.

I checked out at 11:00am. My flight wasn't 'till 11:30pm. The hotel not only looked after my bags for the day, but provided a facility to shower and change my clothes in the evening before I left for my flight. Top marks for that, Royal - Nikko Taipei.
The breakfasts were excellent, the room cleaning superb, The hotel is close to an MRT station. The staff at all times were friendly and helpful.

Great Location for train. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, modern, and well-maintained. This is the second time we've been here and would happily stay here again if we visit Taipei again.
