The cultural city of Kathmandu is full of attractions, such as Narayanhity Palace Museum and Durbar Marg, and is loved for its shopping and hiking trails.
Pokhara is known for its mountain views and temples, and entices visitors with its popular attractions, including Pokhara Regional Museum and Mahendra Cave.
If seeing the sights is on your list of things to do, head to Swayambhunath – just one of the landmarks located 2.1 mi (3.3 km) from central Kathmandu.
From the moment we got in to the moment we left, you could not fault anything. The service was amazing, the room was phenomenal and a great choice of restaurants. I really loved the turned down service, knowing when your back from dinner everything is ready for you for bed. Recommend anyone going to Kathmandu to stay here.

Wonderful hotel in Kathmandu and worthy of the Marriott branding. The room was well appointed and good selection for breakfast.
Special thanks to Anu at front reception who arranged a taxi to the airport for me and walked with me to ensure I got into the correct vehicle and costs confirmed. Nice touch!

It's a good hotel for Nepal and close to the ring road on that side of the valley so we don't need to travel across the whole valley to get up to the monastery and things on the west side. Hope this hotel sticks around, it's really good, service is good, room is good, bathroom is great, internet is great. The only issues I had was noisy neighbours. This hotel has a lot of Indians who like to shout and have their TV loud.

If you want an authentic Nepalese place this is the place to stay. My sister and I had the villa which was amazing with our very own balcony and courtyard which no one visited. Breakfast was wonderful, there are quite a few restaurants and the food was superb in all of them. There was a quaint little bar, outside areas with heaters if needed. The Nepalese people are generally the nicest people, always helpful and friendly. Their English was great so that certainly makes it easier. Tick of...

My husband and I loved Kasara Resort. It was very peaceful and relaxing with fantastic staff. The meals were brilliant. Each evening there was a buffet with a different theme so dinners were not repetitive. Activities on offer were excellent.

My son & I had an excellent trip to Kathmandu & the people were very gracious to us. We loved the freedom & enthusiasm of everybody especially in the hotel of yours. Nothing was too much trouble for anybody there. A special thanks to Rakesh Malalar for his new found friendship with myself & my Son Wesley. Even the other 2 men that we actually invited to stay there were so impressed that they-[being near in India] have asked for the rates per day-so they may come there along with us possibly more...
