"An excellent 4 star hotel"

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Seminyak Icon. Throughout our stay there were a few minor things which secured the hotel as an excellent 4 star vs a 5 star hotel. GOOD: we saw other reviews stating the location wasn't good b/c it was far from seminyak 'town'. This is true, however we quite liked the fact that we could leave the hotel grounds and not worry about getting mobbed by street sellers. The hotel also had a shuttlento Seminyak, & it was cheap getting home via taxi so not really a problem. The hotel was a few minutes from Bali Deli (supermarket). The staff were very polite and attentive. Mena especially at reception was fantastic. The rooms were very clean and a good size and the private pool was awesome. It felt like bottled water was limitless. Breakfast is HUGE, + complimentary afternoon tea. We found that we didn't really eat lunch. BAD:I think I might be a little picky here..No iron in room, cutlery & glasses were not restocked so we had to call to get back, no communal pool (we couldn't get a late check out it would have been great to relax around a pool). There was one guy at reception who I think was still learning and his English was OK - this in itself isn't a problem but he didn't make a dinner booking for us when we asked him to. OVERALL: we were very happy with our stay. Very relaxed and private setting. The staff go out of their way to make sure your stay is pleasant. I would def consider staying here again

Our Villa was amazing. Very spacious, high quality finishings, clean etc. They don't miss much. The service staff were a little light on for English (but not for lack of trying, and it didn't cause us any problems). Location was a little out of the way, but they provide complimentary on demand shuttles to town so this wasn't an issue. We will be back.

The hotel is in a good location in seminyak. the bed was amazing and comfortable, the grounds and villa were beautiful, and the breakfast was really nice. We had a few problems with ogrganising taxis through the hotel and the hotel driver was really rude. We asked him to take us to Kuta, and he got quite angry when we hit a traffic jam and he kept telling us to shop in Legian as it's the same thing or get out and walk to Kuta in the rain as it would be quicker, which we eventually did as he was getting really angry. However apart from that experience, the staff at the hotel were fantastic when I hurt myself towards the end of my trip, they really helped us out. Definitely stay here, try to get a villa, its worth it!

We stayed at the Seiryu for four nights and loved every minute of it. From first moment to last, the staff were unfailingly helpful, sending a driver to pick us up late at night from the airport, checking us in and making sure we were comfortable. Our room, a deluxe villa, was blissful, well maintained and well equipped and we lacked for nothing. The location is great, it's just a ten minute walk or so to the heart of Seminyak village, and its close to the beach. Jump in a taxi and you'll be whereever you need to be within 10 minutes, usually less. The pool was refreshing and inviting, the villa itself wonderful, not to mention the custom breakfast order made fresh each morning for us. The staff arranged a private car hire for us and send one of their own staff, Tapa, as our driver. We would like to commend Ketut and Davy and especially Tapa for all their help, constantly smiling and with a can-do attitude that's so rare in hospitality these days. Without a doubt we will stay again. Thank you Seiryu. Mr Robbie and Miss Catherine

We recently stayed 10 nights at Kamuela and the staff were just so helpful. Happy to meet any request that we had. The place is starting to show signs of wear, especially in the bathroom, however saying that the staff cleaned our room to perfection every morning. The pool was always sparkling clean and we had no issues at all. The location was really great, Bali Deli down the road on the corner, which includes supermarket, bar/restaurant - just so convenient. I would highly recommend anyone stay here.

The villas are beautiful, the service efficient and the staff very polite. We had no water the first night that we were there and had to move to another which also had some electricity problems. But inspite of these problems we had an enjoyable stay and would highly recommend them.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Disini Villas - from the friendliness of the staff; to the opulent and private villas; to the excellent day spa!
We had high expectations, but these were well and truly exceeded. The location was also excellent, just off the Lakasama shopping strip and only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach.
We would certainly recommend these reasonably priced villas in Seminjak.
