This hotel is right on the beach but a little way out of Seminyak. All the staff are very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Rooms were a decent size and clean but always seem to have the odd mozie but being a tropical area was to be expected. Just wear mosquito repellent.

I stayed in the superior deluxe with the spa bath for two nights after a few days in kuta. Older style Balinese hotel, it's very large quite a walk to the lobby. However, I spent the extra for the spa room and it was worth every cent. My room was directly behind the pool with the pool bar that overlooks the beach. Heaven. Good breakfast and room service. There is a small building being built to the right of the restaurant but this doesn't affect the view from the pool and most of the restaurant. Only gripe would be taxis are fixed price in that area so you may want to head towards to Main Street to catch one. Will definitely return

Staff were great, very friendly and couldn't do enough for us - thanks Wiwi. Villa was very well equipped and kept very clean. Very comfortable and great service. Quiet location but close enough to the action. Only down side was the main road which you'd have to cross to get into the main strip. Would stay again.

We stayed at Bali Ayu for 5 nights in one of the new apartments upstairs towards the entrance. The hotel was located in Petitenget, north of Seminyak where W at the Marriott and Potato Head are located. It takes about 30 minutes by taxi and roughly 30,000 rupia to get to Kuta. The hotel is styled traditionally but all the amentities are modern. We paid $60 per night including a basic breakfast and thought it was well worth it. The only cons were that we cold hear the traffic from our room, most likely because we were close to the road. The other rooms would have been quiet as they went towards the back.

Lovely hotel with great service and warm safe atmosphere. Stayed in a vila overlooking the pool and it was very comfy. Could use a bit more lighting as the vila was a lot darker and hard to see in the bathroom compared to the superior room we moved too for our late check out. Overall a great hotel to stay at. Close to seminyak square and other great places and a short inexpensive taxi ride to kuta. Will defiantly stay here again..

The staff were very welcoming and the service was excellent. The property is well maintained and the beds were comfortable. The pool is beautiful and so are the gardens. We would stay there again.I know they get a lot of repeat business which comes as no surprise.Excellent value for money.Couldn't understand why they didn't upgrade as their two suites were empty for the duration of our stay???? That is my only criticism.
