Booked to stay at the Novotel for a week and was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. It was very clean and reasonable prices from inside the hotel. Only downside was the kids club wasn't great for either my 2 year old or my 9 year old. Although all the staff were great. Would definitely return

Our son used The Jetty for his wedding and it was the most magical setting. We could not fault the attention to detail by the staff, especially by Phil, the Executive Chef. The resort itself is far enough away from the busy-ness of Patong to be quiet and private yet close enough to be an easy walk. Our room was in the older part of the resort but we thought the best location as no passing foot traffic of other guests and also very close to the 'small' pool and the restaurants. We will definitely return to the Amari.
"Nice place for short break"

We stayed in the hotel for the 2nd time because of the convenience of the location and reasonable rate, good overall condition ( room feels a bit old ). The controller for air conditiong somehow does not work properly. I woke up at night to turn it off or on because it either too hot or too cold. Set it to 24C but it does not seems to work. Cold air continuously came out from the vent. The only help is turning it off, which work for a couple hours because the room was geting to warm.
"Secluded and expensive"

Hotel is very secluded, so they appeared to have taken advantage of that by overcharging for drinks/food at the hotel. The prices were double than a normal resort, and 5 times more expensive than you can purchase from local 7/11 store. (The local 7/11 is a 40 min walk). They do have a free shuttle to Kamala and Patong though. The sea view rooms were very basic and with the raised platform bed, made the room fell small. We upgraded straight away to one of the villas. The staff were very helpful and showed us the upgrade options before we chose. The villas are a lot more spacious and more modern, including the extra touches (ie, bath robes, flat screen tv, dvd player - which were not in normal rooms). Recommended if you want to get away from it all, views great, but remember your wallet. There are better value/same quality hotels out there.
value for money hotel. rooms could do with a vacuum more often but every other aspect of the room and hotel was very good and clean. internet very slow, expensive and did not work properly. all other aspect of the hotel were very good. free bus service available to patong 9am-9pm was excellent and very handy saving us lots of money. restaurant was great with a good selection of foods available and breakfast buffet was excellent. hotel was handy to all must-see sights and at the same time, away from all the noise and traffic of patong. hotel service was friendly and most staff went out of the way to help. overall a great experience, and recommend it without hesitation.

I enjoyed the resort very much but found that the shower toilet coming straight of the room not perfect for allowing for some privacy if sharing with a friend as I was.... But got usd to it . Also breakfast repetitive and often cold ish , not much entertainment in the hotel in the evening somthing that could be better. The staff are very good and locality is great also the resort is stunning gardens pools, so I would stay again but think a couple of things mentioned could be better, but it's not every thing! the great atmosphere makes up for it .
